This tank no longer exists but when it was running, it served as my 75-gallon Oceanic Tanganyikan Community Tank. The tank had approximately 100 lbs of Honeycomb limestone, 40 lbs. of Tahitian Moon Sand, and various live plants. Some of the more noteworthy plants included Anubias barteri, Anubias nana, Java Fern, Echinodorus amazonicus "Amazon Sword", Vallisneria spiralis, and Vallisneria americana "Tape Grass".

The tank's inhabitants were as follows:

    □  Cyprichromis leptosoma "Utinta" - 19 males, 9 females F0
    □  Xenotilapia spilopterus "Halembe" - 1 male, 3 females F0
    □  Neolamprologus ocellatus "Gold" - 1 male, 2 females
    □  Neolamprologus caudopunctatus "Red Fin" - 1 male, 2 females
    □  Telmatochromis vittatus - 2 unsexed adults
    □  Neolamprologus brevis "Orange Head - Katabe" - 1 pair F0
    □  Julidochromis marlieri "Burundi" - 1 female
    □  Ancistrus temminckii "Albino Bristlenose Pleco" - 2
    □  Synodontis multipunctatus "Zambia" - 2

For filtration, I used the Eheim Pro II 2028 and Under-Gravel Jets (UGJ) using a Rio 3100 submersible pump. Heating was accomplished using a ProQuatics heater. For lighting, I used 2 - 48" T12 ColorMax bulbs (80 watts total) by Coralife. I also used Kent® Freshwater Plant once a week for fertilizer. AlgaeFix™ was used periodically to prevent string algae from taking over. Fish were fed Hikari® Cichlid Complete and O.S.I.® Brine Shrimp Flakes 2-3 times a day.
